Biomechanical Running Analysis

£85

Our Biomechanical Running Analysis is a 60 minute session where we will analyse your running technique using video analysis and we will analyse your movement using a Functional Movement Analysis. This will allow us to identify any weaknesses and inefficiencies that could cause injury or prevent you from running faster. If you want to find out more about your running and what your areas for development are then get in touch.

Overview

This session is the key part to our Running Technique Sessions, because we look at the weaknesses of the body through running and movement. Effective biomechanics, form, and technique are key factors to running as fast as possible, efficiently as possible and injury-free. Correct running form allows us to maintain straight-line momentum, reduce joint impact, minimize energy loss and maximize efficiency and economy. The use of Biomechanical, Gait and Movement Analysis and video recordings help us to identify any weaknesses and the underlying causes for weaknesses in walking, running, and sprinting. The results help us to develop individualised, technique, and performance programmes for people.

This biomechanical analysis is suitable for:

  • Beginner runners

  • Serious amateurs

  • Elite runners

  • Distance runners

  • Sprinters

  • Triathletes
