This programme incorporates walking technique, walking for fitness and walking and movement re-patterning following injury or surgery. 

This programme is suitable for you if you are:

  • A senior looking to get fit, stay fit and improve your balance

  • Recovering from illness, injury or surgery

  • Do not enjoy running but want to stay fit


Overview

Walking is one of the best ways to keep fit and healthy, it is the best medicine that a doctor can prescribe! As humans we spend more time sitting down than ever before, and walking is a way to work around this problem a lot of people face today.

We will guide you through walking techniques and exercises to improve your movement, balance, mobility and strength. We will also give you a walking programme to follow at home.

Sessions are 60 minutes long and are offered in blocks of 6 or 12 sessions.
