6 Session Course: Biomechanical Running Analysis + 5 Coaching Sessions

£350

Our 6 week course combines the biomechanical running analysis session with 5 coaching sessions. The biomechanical analysis session involves video analysis of your running technique and analysis of your movement using the Functional Movement Assessment. This will allow us to identify any weaknesses and inefficiencies that could cause injury or prevent you from running faster. The next five coaching sessions are dedicated to learning the correct technique by using our accelerated learning methods. We also give you homework to do, this allows you to speed up the process of re-training your Kinetic Chain to improve movement and running technique. All exercises are individual and specific to your key areas for development.

Overview

The 6 week course begins with a Biomechanical Analysis in which we will take video clips of you walking and running on a treadmill and then use our video analysis software to identify areas that can be improved within your running to reduce the risk of injury or improve your performance. At this session we will also carry out the unique Functional Movement Analysis developed by The Running School to look at any weaknesses that could be preventing you from getting the most out of your running. This movement analysis will guide what strength exercises we give you to work on to get the most out of your training.

The remaining sessions focus on improving the areas we have identified in the analysis through our unique coaching methodology which is aligned with The Running School that use accelerated learning techniques. These sessions will be reinforced by strength, activation and mobility exercises, and you will be provided with guidance and programmes on how to practice your running technique. Finally, on completion of the sessions we will review your goals and you will receive a before & after video of your running outlining the improvements in your technique which you can use to keep you on track!
